The Crabby imitates a crab to perfection! The Crabby is not all about looks and that Gulp! scent though, it gets better than that. The Crabby features a ‘keeled’ belly that helps to keep it tracking straight on retrieve allowing the swimmers, legs and claws to flutter enticingly. Another great feature of the keeled belly is the horizontal free–fall or drop when used with a light-weight jig head. This makes it ideal for fishing structure where the angler wants a natural ‘sink’ such as boat hulls, racks, pontoons and walls. Flick the Crabby up against a boat hull or rock wall and watch it free-fall horizontally into the depths with its appendages fluttering on the way down and hang on!

The Gulp! Nemesis Prawn Paddle Tail has a prawn style head adorned with a heavy set of spikes and a faceted body that tapers to a finely tuned paddle tail. Our Berkley engineers spent a lot of time to ensure this bait will swim super slow on a wide variety of jig head weights as well as disperse the maximum amount of Gulp! scent through the distinctive surface area of the faceted body.
The Berkley Gulp Peeler Crab soft plastics are a fantastic imitation of a crab that can be thrown around rocks, reefs and any other structure you find really to attract a range of different species. The Peeler Crabs can be rigged straight onto a hook, allowing their own weight to sink them down, or with a jig head if fishing in current or deeper waters. The Gulp Peeler Crab plastics don't require much action at all, they can be deadsticked (left to sit on the bottom), left in a rod holder, or jigged up and down to gain more attention.

The ingredients of Berkley Gulp! are a company secret. The bait is made from natural materials and the liquid is water-based, allowing it to dissolve and spread the Gulp! scent more effectively.
Gulp! Baits are NOT plastic! They are made of biodegradable natural materials and will turn into soil over time. We use glitters in some colours for extra attraction and liveliness; those glitters are not biodegradable.
It is difficult to determine the longevity of Berkley Gulp! Baits, as scent dispersion varies based on factors such as water temperature, water quality, and bait size. Typically, they can catch multiple fish on one bait!
Most of our Berkley Gulp! Baits come in convenient zip-lock bags with a double-sealed opening. When kept in the original packaging, your baits will do best. Please keep them in the bag with the pre-filled Gulp! Liquid, and they will do best. After fishing with one of the baits, take it off the hook and place it back in the bag so you can use it again.
