Berkley X5 and X9 Braid
Built for optimum performance, our X5 and X9 braided fishing lines offer superb feel and casting capabilities along with additional abrasion resistance. Made with 5 or 9 strands of PE fibres respectively, these braids add that extra level of roundness to regular 4 or 8 carrier braids, which makes the lines even more supple and silent. The X5 braided line is more abrasion resistant, while the X9 braided line is more limp and sensitive.
For the ultimate in lure fishing finesse, these braids start at 8lb strength, giving exceptional performance with the diameter of 2lb mono line! Progressing up the range, however, X5 and X9 braid also come in 50lb to 100lb strengths, to cope with punishing conditions, bone-crunching hits and king-sized predators!
